Nevena Dinić
Chance encounters with thing, stories, discarded and discontinued objects and images that Dinić makes are intrinsic to her practice. Meandering through playful process of intuitive response to the material, method of slow and often repetitive ways of making ( in artist words “circling then spiralling” ) is employed to reveal potential moments of fragility. Curiosity about the absurd, never fixed meaning of things yet their ability to connect evoking memories and tell stories is at the core of Nevena Dinić practice.
