ABOUT INHOUSE ART
Inhouse Art is a startup, founded by artist couple Michael Poole and Eva Brá Barkardóttir, specialising in curating and supplying artwork for offices and business spaces. The artworks are sourced from an international community of students, recently graduated artists out of the London Art School scene and unrepresented artists. Michael and Eva both attended art schools in London, and are now practising artists themselves alongside their new venture. Inhouse Art aims to foster a mutually beneficial relationship by offering emerging artists a platform for their work, while also supplying businesses with fresh, exciting artworks, as an alternative to the same safe work which can often be found on office walls. All the works on display are for sale, and with Inhouse’s commission being considerably lower than the industry standard, we directly give our artists as much support as possible. “We know how hard it can be as a recent graduate to get your work in front of an audience. There are so many exploitative opportunities out there with unreasonable terms and hidden fees. We want to put the artist first, by backing the amazing community of artists we have here in London.”
